Cassiobury Tennis Club hosted the annual Paul Elderfield tournament in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust in September 2008, as our own club was unavailable due to the ongoing development work.

We had a very successful day, which ran quite smoothly and the weather was kind. It was a shortened day but everyone had lots of play and fun!

Tony Elderfield came and said a few words, which was doubly hard this year as he lost his wife after a routine operation soon after last year’s tournament.

A donation of £50 from Croxley Tennis Club was added to the £500 proceeds generated on the day.
